Samsung Galaxy Y Duos Review
Samsung Galaxy Y Duos Review:
The Samsung Galaxy Y Duos is announced in Dec 2011 which is a duel SIM GSM device; the duel SIM mean user can activate two GSM numbers at once. Mostly people prefer to keep the family contacts away from the professional contacts. There for they like keep tow different numbers one for work and the other for personal life. For that people were suffering to keep the burden of two cell phones but the technology provides them duel SIM cell phones which can keep on tow numbers at the same time. Galaxy Y Duos is thin as much as 12mm with the light weight of 109g, with a very stylish outlook the cell phone is at a middle range price and could attract teenagers. With 3.14” TFT capacitive touchscreen this device is offering 256K colors display, the display look bright but can the 256k colors meet the required color rang of 3.14” screen needs? I think it is alright with Galaxy Y Pro Duos which is with just 2.6” screen but for a phone of 3.14” screen at least 512k is much better.
There are only some differences between Galaxy Y Duos and Galaxy Y Pro Duos, as the Galaxy Y Duos no QWERTY keyboard but with larger display, Galaxy Y Pro Duos has a front facing camera but Galaxy Y Duos don’t have and Galaxy Y Pro Duos is slightly heavy then Galaxy Y Duos. All other features are same for both handsets. One more difference is there that Galaxy Y Duos is installed with a Li-Ion 1300 mAh battery while the Galaxy Y Pro Duos have Li-Ion 1350 mAh battery. So the Samsung is trying to capture the mid price range market by producing cell phone like those, it is offering different kind of features and experimenting with different combination, may any cloud hold the grip. Any how the 3.15MP without LED flash could shoot photos in good light but in dark no need to think about shooting. It can record QVGA video @24fps. Users can chose one for the texting capability of QWERTY keyboard and the other to enjoy big display touch features.
