Nokia Lumia 800 Review:

 

 

Nokia Lumia 800 is announced in October 2011, it has 480 x 800 pixels, 3.7 inches (~252 ppi pixel density) AMOLED capacitive 16 mega colors touchscreen and it has accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, multi-touch input method, clear black display, and proximity sensor for auto turn-off. The dimensions of this handset are 116.5 x 61.2 x 12.1 mm, 76.1 cc and its weight is 142 g. It has Class 33 EDGE and class 33 GPRS, 5.76 Mbps HSUPA and 14.4 Mbps HSDPA, v2.1 with A2DP EDR Bluetooth and high speed v2.0 microUSB. It has 16 GB internal memory and has 512 MB RAM, it is a speedy cell phone with 3D Graphics HW Accelerator, it has 1.4 GHz processor and Qualcomm MSM8255 chipset. It equipped 8 MP pixels Carl Zeiss optics autofocus camera with dual-LED flash, which supports Geo-tagging feature and can record 720p@30fps video.

 

 

Nokia Lumia 800 has a loudspeaker, 3.5mm jack, WAV ringtones, MP3 ringtones and vibration Alert types. It has Stereo FM radio with RDS, games (plus downloadable) and it is available in cyan, black and magenta colors. With A-GPS support, it has SMS (threaded view), MMS, Email and IM, it has WAP 20./xHTML and HTML5 browser with RSS feeds, java emulator MIDP 2.1.

 

 

It has Li-Ion 1450 mAh (BV-5JW) standard battery which is capable to provide 340 hours stand-by time, up to 13 hours 2G and 10 hour 3G talk time. It is equipped with latest features such as predictive text input, active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, video/photo editor , Digital compass, SNS integration, document viewer, Voice memo/command/dial, MP4/H.264/H.263/WMV player, MP3/WAV/eAAC+/WMA player, and MicroSIM card support.

    I m a big fan of the Nokia N9 when I saw its few months earlier, but after it was sadly preserved for UK beach I thought I will never got a cell of same design. Thankfully to Nokia Lumina 800 is basically same design handset, just a bit difference and it’s also able to run WP 7.5.
