BlackBerry releases Bold 9790 in Dec 2011 which is a new addition in BlackBerry 7 range, the display of this phone is 16M colors and the 2.45” TFT capacitive touchscreen is quite sharp. Color definition is good and the touchscreen is bright enough for sunlight. Slightly raised buttons of QWERTY keyboard provides easy typing experience and the speed could reach up to 40 wpm. This cell phone provides the same premium feel in the hands by the brushed metallic band, the 1 GHz processor with support of 768 MB RAM, provides good speed while opening different programs and playing games. This device has BlackBerry’s operating system 7.0 which is reliable for good performance. This device provides convenience key controls on side position keys like volume controller. It has 8GB internal memory and microSD card slot so user can put up to 32GB memory card according to the requirement.

BlackBerry Bold 9790 is fitted with a 5 MP Autofocus camera which is capable to capture HD photos and to avoid lake if light, it has LED flash. The camera supports many latest features such as face detection, image stabilization and Geo-tagging, it provides VGA video recording. It gives fast shot-to-shot time and very easy to use but the video quality is not at the best, as well as the photo color contrast is a bit at the lower side. The cell phone provides a better experience for calling; the sound quality and signals are good. The device has Li-Ion (JM-1) battery which provides almost 430 hours of standby and up to 5 hours of talk time. It provides a good time for music play as much as 35 hours, so the music lover could give their attention. It is programmed with some latest features such as voice memo/dial, SNS applications, document viewer, organizer, predictive text input and MP3 and MP4 player.
